-Commissioned by The Department of Foreign Affairs to create a one-off piece for the new Irish Ambassador to the EU, Rory Montgomery.
-Awarded Travel & Training Award by the Arts Council for Residency in Belgium Oct 2009.
-From the 19th-21st June I will be representing the Black Church Print Studio at the 1st International Printmaking Symposium in Kloster-Bentlage in Rheine, Germany. The Symposium will act as a platform to pose questions and raise awareness about the aesthetic, philosophical and cultural as well as the technical influence of printmaking in today’s contemporary art scene.
-Selected artist in this year’s International Miniprint Exhibition in the Centre for Contemporary Printmaking, Connecticut, as well as Limerick Printmaker’s Annual Open Submission Exhibition.
-In October 2009 I will embark on my first international artist residency in the world-renowned Frans Masereel Centre in Belgium. This residency will provide valuable time and space for me to explore, investigate and develop my art practice through research, professional training and collaborative projects.
